In a nauseating display of self-serving demagoguery, petty vindictiveness and ingratitude, Sen. Joseph Lieberman of Connecticut, lauded the life and career of Sen. John McCain while belittling that of his opponent Sen. Barack Obama, in his keynote speech at the Republican National Convention in St Paul, Minnesota, Tuesday night.
Forget about Obama being one of the few Democrats who supported him in his battle for the senatorial candidacy against Ned Lamont in 2006, this man was the running mate of the Democratic candidate for president in 2000, former vice-president Al Gore. Yet, he decided to go to St. Paul and commit an act of political high treason, all out of spite and cluelessness.
Fuck this turncoat--who's not a even a DINO, for Pete's sake--and the horse he rode in on. Good riddance.
