While Ivanka Trump caught much flak for recently posting a tone deaf photo of herself with her son on Instagram, in the midst of reports on the separation of families on the Mexico-US border, The New York Times reported on how she was awarded seven new business trademarks by China six days before her father declared he’d help Chinese telecommunications company ZTE out of bankruptcy.
So as this poor excuse for a president talks out of one side of his mouth about confronting and opposing China’s unfair trade relationship with the US and being supposedly concerned about security, as he vows to help a company that has violated US trade sanctions with Iran and North Korea and has been said to pose a threat to security by US intelligence agencies, his daughter is awarded millions of dollars in business patents by China. And conservative analysts, media and politicians say…[tumbleweeds].
