Forget all the deluded, pearl-clutching editorials about the resilience of our Constitution and institutions and/or how Trump is not above the law. Whatever. The fact that Trump has been aided and abetted by Congressional Republicans by either actively undermining the DoJ and FBI in their investigations into the Russia and obstruction of justice probes, or simply by looking the other way as Orange Escobar tramples over the rule of law, is for any reasonable person to no longer view the GOP as a political party but a cartel of grifters and scumbags, with Trump as their dear leader.
