Noted Editorial Cartoonist Axed for Being Critical of POTUS
Rob Rogers, a Pulitzer finalist editorial cartoonist who was a 25-year veteran of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, was fired over disagreements with management regarding anti-Trump cartoons. Basically, the paper’s publisher John Block and its editorial director Keith Burris, who are Trump supporters—Block was even photographed posing with Trump on the candidate’s campaign plane in 2016—nixed the publication of a series of Rogers' editorial cartoons, and fired him on Thursday.
