Yesterday's passing of the political commentator/NBC News Washington bureau chief/host of Meet the Press was met with many moving recollections of the man and his work. ("We lost the quarterback," said colleague Chris Matthews.) But the one that stuck with me was Conan O'Brien's simple but heartfelt tribute on his Late Night show Friday night:
