Change of Venue? Depends, Person of Color

In his most recent strip, cartoonist Keith Knight makes a good point about changing the venue of a court case for lack of a non-tainted jury pool in the future, using the upcoming trial of September 11th mastermind Khalil Sheikh Mohammed as an example:

If this really goes ahead in NYC, I hope I never have to hear about another trial moving out of town whenever cops shoot/beat/kill an unarmed black guy.

Makes sense. But don't hold your breath, buddy.
